Cebeco Granen is a renowned European player in cereal trading. The focus is mainly on wheat and barley.

Our history dates back to 1899. It was in that year that the forerunner of our company was founded: Centraal Bureau. This company supported cooperative purchasing associations in the agricultural sector with the purchase of fertilizers.

In the 1920s, it also began to produce and market cattle feed. In the course of time, numerous activities developed from this base and in 1962 the name Cebeco was introduced. There were also regular privatisations. Cebeco Granen BV is one of the companies that have emerged from this long history.

The Dutch sobriety and commercial spirit of the end of the 19th century can still be found today in our organisation, culture and working method. With Cebeco Granen you have a partner with whom you can switch quickly and who actively thinks along with you. Our compact organisation is characterised by short lines of communication, which means that our overhead is low and we are able to respond quickly to market developments. We like to keep things simple and attach great importance to fulfilling our agreements, with a great deal of attention to the best logistic solutions.

The heart of our company is formed by the desks Trading and Logistics. We make our purchases from our shareholder CZAV, as well as on the free market. 

In order to ensure optimum and on-time deliveries for our customers, we use well-considered logistics systems and processes, in which we bear various risks. One of our strong points is that we have local grain stocks in the Netherlands. This enables us to offer you, as a buyer, a great deal of flexibility and you are always assured of fast delivery times, no matter what happens.

If shifts occur in the economic, trade and agronomic conditions, we anticipate them quickly and ensure that we have a clear insight into their impact. We advise our shareholders on the best sales times and sales channels. We also conduct research into new markets and products, such as the introduction of sustainability labels or the trade in promising crops for the future. We have a keen eye for the future, so that we can respond as soon as attractive opportunities arise.
